Anthropic (ANTH.PVT) understands that the US government could affect how customers of all kinds view their business.
According to Reuters, which obtained Anthropic's IPO prospectus, the AI giant's disclosures suggest that "government perceptions of the company and its conduct could extend beyond its direct dealings to affect customers, partners, other commercial relationships."
Reuters noted that according to the prospectus, government agency contracts account for less than 1% of the company's annual revenue.

Anthropic could IPO as soon as mid-November at a valuation of up to $2 trillion.
President Donald Trump recently told TIME that he spoke to Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei about the company's requests to be regulated: "Look, I say, if you're going to seek regulation, they can put you out of business. Now you do have to be responsible for yourself, and there aren't a lot of people that understand what's going on. … But my attitude is, we're winning against the world by a lot, and I want to keep winning."
