NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - American Airlines announced new one-stop international travel options from Nashville International Airport beginning next summer.

The airline will offer connections through Charlotte, New York, Philadelphia and Chicago to seven new routes and three new destinations.

Nashville travelers will be able to connect through:

Charlotte to Barcelona, Spain

New York’s JFK Airport to Amsterdam and Nice, France

Philadelphia to Porto, Portugal; Reykjavik, Iceland; and Vienna, Austria

Chicago to Tokyo, Japan

American said the new international flights will begin between March and May 2027.

The airline currently operates six daily flights from Nashville to Charlotte and Philadelphia, one daily flight to JFK and seven daily flights to Chicago, according to the announcement.

Tickets for the new routes will be available beginning Aug. 31 at aa.com and through the American Airlines app.
